An American’s love of the Russian car industry Turned Into the Most Expensive Used Lada Ever!

An American boy, Graham Blackwood, imbued in Russian spirit, fell in love with Russia’s domestic auto industry. He decided to buy a Lada. Vladimir found a 2986 Lada 2106 in St. Petersburg, Russia and bought her for $2500. He then spent a lot more on parts ($1100) and transportation, where the car sailed to the port of Red Hook, New York. The total transportation cost was $2160, then customs was another $750. In total, this exotic came to $6510 U.S. dollars, most likely the highest price ever paid for a used Lada.
