How Russians view Americans (Top 40 America F’ Yeah Pictures)

Nov 9, 2012 by

Being American, I have heard the phrase America Fuck Yeah at least a dozen times last week. Imagine my surprise when I begin browsing the Russian Net and find that site after site is now also posting American images … in a not so flattering way. It seems like most of these images were stolen from Reddit or the like, but they definitely paint America in a funny way.

So, what do Russians think of Americans? Well, we love bacon, we are incredibly fat, we love our monster trucks, guns guns and more guns, the American military is God, the Stars and Stripes Baby, and of course nothing says you are proud to be American like a patriotic tattoo.

You know, they may be on to something …

  1. In the age of internet, it’s not surprising that people have a good knowledge of each other.
What IS surprising, however, is that the prejudices and stereotypes seem to spread faster than other information.

  2. LandOfree… you make me so sad.

I actually like this stereotype, because it’s actually true for a lot of people here in the U.S. and it embarrasses me at the same time.

  4. Oh no I saw my hometown I grew up in. Geez the guy on the bike. Yea Alvin Tx
